Bob Roby and Mitch Frank, from our Rockwell City branch, had the opportunity to meet with one of the largest soy meal buyers in the Philippines. The Iowa Soybean Association, in conjunction with soybean growers and processors, organized the Philippine Soy Harvest Tour. Through this tour, soy meal end users were able to meet growers and see how soybeans are grown and harvested. Over 25 customers and end users attended this tour around Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. End users prefer and value U.S. grown soybeans and were mostly comprised of pork and poultry producers. The group stopped by in Auburn at Little Green Truck Coffee Co.  during the first week of October to visit with farmers and included Bob and Mitch.
