Julie Hahn, Consumer Loan Officer in our Storm Lake office, recently helped a customer achieve one of his major goals. Nathan Coonrad always had a goal of owning his very own home before he turned 30 years old. It took a lot of hard work for him to get to this point, and with a little help from United Bank of Iowa and Julie, he accomplished his goal...one day before his 30th birthday!

When we asked Nathan to describe what his new home means to him, he responded, "It means everything. As a kid, I moved around a lot and it's an indescribable feeling to know that I have a place of my own where I can stay for as long as I want." As a first-time home buyer, Nathan was very complimentary of Julie. He commented, "she took the time to explain every step of the process and always kept me in the loop. She is honestly one of the nicest people that I've ever met."

All of us at United Bank of Iowa would like to wish Nathan many years of happiness and memories in his new home.
