United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,084 to the Ida County Ministerial Association based in Ida Grove. This fund is used for emergency situations in Ida County of disadvantaged people who have urgent needs. It helps distressed persons who need assistance purchasing food, those who have been abused and need a temporary place to stay, have no money for gas, transients, etc. The money for this donation was raised during United Bank of Iowa's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort.
United Bank of Iowa employees presenting the check are Lisa Witten, Jean Burns, Katie Bresnahan and Robin Thornhill. Accepting the donation on behalf of the Ida County Ministerial Association was Pastor Richard Salcido and Pastor Neil Wehmas from St. Paul Lutheran Church.
