Railsback Chrome Shop
"Lauren worked with a lot of people to make everything happen -
communication was very straightforward."
Recently, we sat down with Keaton Railsback, owner of Railsback Chrome Shop, and asked how United Bank of Iowa helped him expand his mobile truck polish business into a permanent shop. Keaton explained, "After managing a mobile polishing business for three years, I decided to explore the possibility of buying land and constructing a permanent building to use for polishing trucks, along with adding a chrome shop. Since I've banked with United Bank of Iowa since I was a kid, I went there and proposed the idea to Lauren Mohrhauser (lender in the Odebolt office). She walked me through the entire process from purchasing land to the building process. There were a few challenges along the way, however she helped me do all the background work to get through them. Lauren worked with a lot of people to make everything happen - communication was very straightforward. I could text Lauren and get an answer night or weekend!"
Lauren Mohrhauser, Keaton's lender, also had high praise for her customer. "After sitting down with Keaton, it didn't take long to realize his business sense was on point., despite his young age. Keaton's business was only in its second year, but it was clear I was working with an individual who knows how to get after it." She continued, "I am very pleased that United Bank of Iowa had the tools and resources to help Keaton achieve his business objectives. As a community bank, we are always looking for ways to finance opportunities that will benefit our area."
