United Bank of Iowa Donates to Brave Bags
United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,233 to Brave Bags. Based in Humboldt, Brave Bags provides care packages to hospitalized children in Iowa. The care packages include various items such as socks, lotion, small toys, coloring/art supplies, etc. This effort is managed by Katie Phillips at the Humboldt Middle School, who teaches a civic engagement class to seventh graders. The class teaches students to prioritize the needs of others over their own.
