Evan & Konner Hoefling

Recently, we sat down with Evan Hoefling and his son, Konner Hoefling, UBI customers from our Odebolt and Anthon offices, to hear their thoughts on working with United Bank of Iowa.
Evan shares, "United Bank of Iowa is always easy to work with - no matter who I talk to, they are always willing to help. I really appreciate the experience my lender, Lauren Mohrhauser, has in ag and how she gives it to me straight. When I ask Lauren questions, she always give me her honest opinion and feedback. Our communication is open, and Lauren is always available - even after hours! UBI has also been great in the generation transition of our farming operation. When my son, Konner, wanted to get started in farming, Matt Fitzpatrick (UBI lender, Anthon) was very helpful in guiding him through the Beginning Farmer Loan process. " Konner added, "Matt made the process easy, explained everything clearly, and had the paperwork ready for me to sign."
When asked if they would refer someone to bank at UBI, Konner commented, "Yes! We would tell them if you need a bank that is knowledgeable, has great customer service and is always easy to work with, go to UBI!" Evan continues, "UBI is respectful, good with people, and always answers your questions."
