United Bank of Iowa Donates to West Central Community Action

United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,000 to West Central Community Action in Onawa. The funds for this donation were raised during United Bank of Iowa's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort. The Cause Day program gives UBI employees a chance to make a meaningful impact in the communities the bank serves. On the second and fourth Fridays of each month, employees at all 36 UBI offices have the option to donate $5.00 to wear their UNITED TOGTHER t-shirts with jeans to work. The bank matches employee contributions up to $1.000, and the combined total is donated to a cause selected from suggestions across all 36 locations.

West Central Community Action was the recipient of the November 28, 2025, Cause Day donation. This organization provides vital support to Monona County residents by offering a clothing closet, assistance with heating and rent costs, a food pantry, help for domestic abuse situations, and more.
