United Bank of Iowa Presents Check to OABCIG Dollars for Scholars
The Whitey Thompson Hike-Bike-A-Thon Sets New Donation Record Again!
United Bank of Iowa recently presented a donation of $74,309.05 to OABCIG Dollars for Scholars, which is the proceeds of the 31st annual Whitey Thompson Hike-Bike-A-Thon, held on May 7, 2025. This event, a fundraiser for OABCIG Dollars for Scholars is sponsored by United Bank of Ia and OABCIG Dollars for Scholars. Total donations received were $88,421.81, a new record high for the event.
OABCIG Dollars for Scholars board members on hand for the donation were Linda Burk, Lydia Peterson, Dee Boger, Kim Miller, Aaron Hoffman and Marcia Cates. The marketing team from United Bank of Iowa presenting the check include Marcia Cates, Presley Cranston, Jessica Burk and Taylor Hemer.
