UBI Donates to Galva City Park Shelter House Remodel Project
United Bank of Iowa Donates $10,000 to Galva Economic Development Corporation to Help Fund City Park Shelter House Remodel Project
Our Galva office is proud to pledge a $10,000 donation to the Galva Economic Development Corporation in support of the Galva City Park Shelter House remodel project. This contribution will be made in two installments - $5,000 in 2025 and $5,000 in early 2026.
The initial phase of the project will focus on exterior improvements, which include replacing the building's siding, doors, and windows. The second phase of construction will take place on the interior of the building with updated kitchen cabinets, countertops, appliances, and epoxy flooring. Additional improvements include a new HVAC system, updated insulation, sheetrock and lighting. The anticipated completion date of the renovation is April 2026.
