UBI Donates to Boone Area Veterans Center Project

United Bank of Iowa Donates $25,000 to Support

Boone Area Veterans Center Project

United Bank of Iowa is proud to announce a $25,000 donation to the Boone Area Veterans Center in support of the construction of their new facility. This donation reflects UBI's commitment to building strong connections in the communities in which we serve.

The new Veterans Center will feature a modern, fully handicap-accessible space designed to meet the needs of local veterans, their families, and the community. Once completed, the facility will provide a welcoming environment where individuals can access vital resources, build connections and participate in programs that will promote well-being, learning, and community engagement.

In addition to serving as a gathering place, the new building will function as a VSO (Veterans Service Office) satellite office, making it easier for veterans to receive support, benefits assistance, and other essential services close to home. The center is expected to be a hub of activity, offering space for educational opportunities, community events, and the development of lasting communities.
