United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,000 to Tori's Angels Foundation. This money was raised during UBI's United Together Makes the Difference Cause Day effort. The goal of UBI's Cause Day initiative is to make a difference and support those in need in the communities the bank serves. On the second and fourth Fridays of each month, UBI employees from all 37 locations have the option to donate $5.00 to wear their UNITED TOGETHER t-shirts with jeans to work. The bank matches those employee donations up to $1,000 and the total is donated to one cause, randomly drawn from suggestions given by all 37 locations.

Tori's Angels Foundation, suggested by the Harlan office, was the lucky recipient of the August 14, 2026, Cause Day donation. Tori's Angels Foundation, based in Panora, serves children throughout Iowa who are experiencing life-threatening medical conditions. The foundation helps pay for medical expenses not covered by insurance, including co-pays, deductibles, and prescriptions, as well as helping fund travel expenses for medical treatments.
