United Bank of Iowa Donates $2,000 to The Howard Center
United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,000 to The Howard Center in Sac City. The funds from this donation will help provide services for those with disabilities including supported community living, personal and home skill training services, individual advocacy services, community, personal management and socialization skills training, personal and environmental support services, transportation, treatment, respite and habilitation services, home and vehicle modifications and supported employment. The money for this donation was raised by UBI employees, with funds being matched by the bank, during their UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort.
United Bank of Iowa employees presenting the check are Carol Hansen, Matt Huegerich, Melissa Langbein and Hayley Mauer. Accepting the donation on behalf of The Howard Center are Diana Ossman, Melanie Ross, Marie Ulrich, Mickey Drake, Chris Batz, Amanda Weber and Christian Benditen.
Since September 2020, United Bank of Iowa has donated $243,310 to 115 causes in their market area through their Cause Day effort.
