United Bank of Iowa Donates to Swingin' Fore Soldiers
United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,000 to Swingin' Fore Soldiers in Gowrie, Iowa, through its UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day initiative.
The Cause Day program gives UBI employees the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in their communities. One the second and fourth Friday of each month, employees at all 36 locations have the option to donate $5 to wear their UNITED TOGETHER t-shirts with jeans to work. The bank matches the employee donations up to $1,000 and the total is then donated to a cause randomly selected from suggestions submitted all 36 UBI offices.
Swingin' Fore Soldiers, the recipient of UBI's October 24, 2025, Cause Day donation, provides vital support to U.S. military families and veterans. This organization helps with medical expenses, rent and mortgage payments, car payments, utilities, groceries, care packages sent overseas, funeral costs, holiday meals and more.
