United Bank of Iowa Donates to St. Anthony Friendship Fund

United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,000 to the St. Anthony Friendship Fund. The Friendship Fund, based out of the St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll, was developed in 2014 to help provide basic support to cancer patients in west central Iowa who have urgent financial needs. The funds from this donation will help to provide cancer patients with items such as prosthetics, wigs, medications, and gasoline, as many patients travel 50-75 miles round trip five days a week for treatment. The money for this donation was raised during United Bank of Iowa's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort.

United Bank of Iowa employees presenting the check are Tamara Bonney, Carter Brodersen, Jim Friel, Katie Halbur and Ashley Hanlon, Sarah Foley and Lori Pietig, representing St. Anthony's Friendship Fund, accepted the donation.
