United Bank of Iowa Donates $2,125 to Sleep in Heavenly Peace

United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,125 to Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The funds for this donation were raised during United Bank of Iowa's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort.
The goal of United Bank of Iowa's Cause Day effort is to give employees the opportunity to make a difference and support people in need in the communities the bank serves. On the second and fourth Fridays each month, UBI employees from all 36 locations have the option to donate $5.00 to wear their UNITED TOGETHER t-shirts with jeans to work. The bank matches the employee donations up to $1,000 and the total is donated to one cause, randomly selected from suggestions submitted by all 36 UBI locations.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace, based in Sioux City, was the latest recipient of UBI's Cause Day donation. This organization builds beds for underprivileged children who don't have a bed of their own. They serve the Sioux City area including Arthur, Ida Grove, Battle Creek, Odebolt, Cushing, Holstein, and Schleswig.
