Lance's dedication and contributions to the success of our organization will be greatly missed.

The management team and staff are a top-notch, hard-working team that always have the customers’ best interests as their first priority. It has been very rewarding to be part of the growth and success of United Bank of Iowa, while navigating the challenges of banking in an ever-changing economy. I want to thank my fellow board members, employees, and customers for their continued loyalty and support. My father-in-law, Jim Lipton, Jr., and his father, Jas Lipton, Sr., who was one of the original founders of Ida County State Bank in 1932, would be very proud of the bank’s success and strong community connections.”

Lance, and his wife, Marcia, reside in Ida Grove and enjoy traveling to visit their children and grandchildren. Their daughter, Krista, lives in Reno, Nevada, and their son, Tim, and his wife, Melissa, along with their two children, Avery and Kennedy, live in Omaha, Nebraska.
