United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,060 to the Hospital Foundation of Crawford County. This money was raised during UBI's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort. The goal of United Bank of Iowa's Cause Day initiative is to make a difference and support people in need in the communities the bank serves. On the second and fourth Fridays each month, UBI employees from all 37 locations have the option to donate $5.00 to wear their UNITED TOGETHER t-shirts with jeans to work. The bank matches the employee donations up to $1,000 and the total is donated to one cause, randomly drawn from suggestions given by all 37 offices.
The Hospital Foundation of Crawford County, suggested by the Charter Oak office, was the recipient of UBI's June 12, 2026 Cause Day donation. The goal of the foundation is to provide resources to assist Crawford County Memorial Hospital in identifying and meeting the ever-changing health care needs of the communities they serve. This donation is designated to help provide CCMH patients with transportation to and from medical appointments, ensuring they are able to make their appointments.
