United Bank of Iowa Donates $2,044 to Feed My Sheep

United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,044 to Feed My Sheep. The money from this donation was raised during UBI's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort. The goal of United Bank of Iowa's Cause Day initiative is to make a difference and support people in need in the communities the bank serves. On the second and fourth Friday of each month, UBI employees from all 37 locations have the opportunity to donate $5.00 to wear their UNITED TOGETHER t-shirts with jeans to work. The bank matches employee donations up to $1,000 and the total is donated to one cause, randomly drawn from suggestions given by all 37 offices.
Feed My Sheep, suggested by the Ida Grove office, was the recipient of our May 8, 2026, Cause Day donation. Feed My Sheep, organized through the Trinity Lutheran Church in Odebolt, provides a hot meal once a month to anyone in the surrounding communities struggling with food insecurities.
