United Bank of Iowa Donates $2,000 to the Charter Oak-Ute Holiday Drive
United Bank of Iowa recently donated $2,000 to the Charter Oak-Ute Holiday Drive. This money was raised during United Bank of Iowa's UNITED TOGETHER Makes the Difference Cause Day effort.
The goal of United Bank of Iowa's Cause Day initiative is to give employees the opportunity to make a difference and support those people in need within the communities the bank serves. On the second and fourth Friday of each month, UBI employees from all 36 locations have the option to donate $5.00 to wear their UNITED TOGETHER t-shirts with jeans to work. The bank matches the donations up to $1,000 and the total is donated to one cause, randomly drawn from suggestions given by all 36 locations.
The Charter Oak-Ute Holiday Drive was the lucky recipient of United Bank of Iowa's October 10, 2025, Cause Day donation. This donation will be used to purchase items needed such as coats and gifts for those in need within the Charter Oak and Ute communities.
