United Bank of Iowa, sponsor of the Whitey Thompson Hike-Bike-A-Thon, recently presented a check for $67, 859.27 to OABCIG Dollars for Scholars for the proceeds of the event. On hand for the presentation were Marcia Cates, VP Marketing of United Bank of Iowa, and Paul Neumann, President of OABCIG Dollars for Scholars. The Hike Bike fundraiser set a new donation record in 2021 with donations totaling $81,174.27. United Bank of Iowa and OABCIG Dollars for Scholars would like to thank the students who participated and the local community, friends and family for your generous continued support of this event. All proceeds are used to fund scholarships for OABCIG graduates.
